Atul Bhandari is a consultant based in Spencer Stuart’s New Delhi office. He is a member of the Telecommunications, Communications & Media, Business & Professional Services and CIO practices.

Atul has more than 15 years of global experience with expertise in corporate strategy, technology-led business transformations and value-based selling.


Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Atul served as vice president of value engineering, industry solutions and customer advocacy at SAP India, where he was responsible for conceptualizing and developing industry-focused go-to-market programs. He worked closely with leading Indian conglomerates on technology-led business transformations and was also a member of the country leadership team.


Prior to joining SAP, Atul worked with McKinsey & Company in the firm’s Palo Alto office and was one of the leaders of the software practice. He advised some of the world’s largest technology companies on topics ranging from growth and innovation to organizational design and go-to-market strategy.


He began his career with ICRA Limited (formerly Investment Information and Credit Rating Agency of India Limited) as part of the advisory team that developed divestment strategies for leading government-owned enterprises.


Atul holds an MBA from Lally School of Management & Technology at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a B. S. in chemical engineering from Michigan Technological University. He speaks fluent English and Hindi.
